I learned the hard way by purchasing several and ending up losing money by doing so. I started with the TaylorMade draw bias driver and hated it. Sold it on ebay and lost about $70 by reselling it. I then purchased a Nike Sumo2 SQ Lucky 13 and hated it as well. Traded it in for a Adams Ovation and lost another bunch of money but ended up finding that the Ovation was the best of the bunch and it cost a lot cheaper.

  1. your problem is your looking for 2 completely different animals

softer faces are more forgiving but harder hotter faces add distance

if you hit the ball pure cobra rules but if you don't square drivers will allow you to swing harder

  2. 2007 TaylorMade Burner is a great driver. I bought one this year and I absolutely love it.

  3. Personally I think Taylormade is the most advanced club brand on the market.  I've been hitting the Taylormade R7 460 driver with stiff shaft and 8.5 degree loft, I absolutely love this club.  Before that I had the Taylormade R580 XD and loved that club.  I've been hitting cleveland irons for the past 15 years and recently just purchased the Taylormade R7 irons.  I recommend that you hit the club at a range to get a feel for what the newer technology gives to your swing.  The adjustable weights in the Taylormade's allow for the clubface to square up to the ball upon impact if set proper and well much is dependent upon the swing.

Go to a golfsmith or a course with a pro, both will be able to properly fit your swing if you don't trust your judgement on clubs.

As for Taylormade, the superquad is top of the line along with their technology, so try one out, you'll like it

  4. the best thing to do is to go down to your local driving range and try out a couple out.

the average golfer goes for a regular shaft with 10.5 degrees loft there the best ones iv found out

i have the sumo2 sq and it is far the best one i tried out. distance ,forgivness, height etc.

the sound it makes is disliked by most people but tbh who cares

i out drive them by 70-100 yrds

remember wen driving dont try smack the ball miles .

the club will do the work.

DRIVE FOR SHOW PUTT FOR DOUGH
