  1. go to www.ehow.com and search it! it has everything you need to know about how to do things there.

    hope this helps.

    :)

  2. You will have to turn much wider and backing up will be the most frustrating thing you will probably ever have to do.

  3. Reversing, and extra mirrors, these are a must. it is quite difficult to park or reverse a caravan that is being towed.

    no one can be inside the caravan when it is being towed.

    there are a few other regulations but i dont know them all.

    also braking and moving off a hill are very diffrent then when your not towing.

    just make sure you practise with someone who has experiance, when the roads are quiet before going on any lengthy journey.

  4. If you have held your licence since 1997, then you can definately legally drive classes B+E on your current licence.

    However, if you are current possesion of a provissional licence or passed class B test after 1997, then you are required by law to have the appropriate licence which will mean taking a trailer test.

    B = Car

    E = Trailer

    There are several skills required, and also you need to know how to manage the car without burning out the clutch. I have seen it done before on Motoways.

  5. An amazing inability to see anyone else on the road, cause tail backs that are up to a mile long by driving no faster than 20 miles an hour and not pulling over, completely stop in the middle of the road every now and again to look at a map and perhaps make a cup of coffee.  The best techniques are: a crane drivers license so you can drop the caravan from a crane at around 100 feet in the air – this is the fastest it will ever travel. An explosives license – I have found that a few pounds of cemtex works wonders for caravans. Go to any Top Gear or Brainiacs clip on you tube involving caravans – great tips on how to handle these things.

  6. no sharp turns!!

  7. no once you passed your test you can tow a trailer ,caravan ect ect

  8. first you must have a driving license that lets you tow a trailer or caravan ie passed your test b4 1997 driving skills go on a course to drive car and trailer.

  9. no there are no specific techniques but i would do a lot of practice before i started towing on the roads

  10. Theres a link below with some info...always be carefull when travelling down hill. If you are going too fast the caravan or any trailer will begin to wave left and right in larger and larger swoops, going into what is called a "speed wobble". Ive seen it happening in front of our carone day and God its really dangerous and scary. The caravan can "jack knife" and swing out into oncoming traffic! Just be careful and practice your reversing!!
