What eating routine should my 1 year old have?

My daughter is almost 1, and her eating routine needs to change. She now eats solids at breakfast and dinner only. All other times is snack or formula. Since she will not be getting formula soon I'm trying to think of a good routine and menu. She only has 4 teeth, and am paranoid on what she would be able to handle. Please give me a sample of your daily eating routine.

  1. My 1-year-old has 7 teeth.  Here's her food for today:

    B: Chocolate Zucchini Bread, Banana

L: Baked Beans w/ Cheese, Baby Carrot to gnaw on

D: Mashed Potato & Sausage Casserole, Summer Squash

    Here's another typical day:

B: Zucchini bread w/ peanut butter, juice

L: Leftover pasta w/ tomato sauce and cheese, peas

D: Baked Potato w/ butter and yogurt (healthy sour cream substitute), Broccoli

  2. Here is an example of what I feed this age child:

    Oatmeal, banana,milk

Egg salad sandwich, slice of cheese green beans, peaches, milk

    Goldfish, water

Grilled chicken, rice, broccoli, carrots, milk

The key is to cut up the food into bite sized pieces so she can eat everything.

Another tip form someone whose "been there", do not cater to her likes and dislikes.  Toddlers are famous for turning their nose up at anything that isn't either sweet, salty, or white...I don't know why this is but it is.  Don't give in.  Continue putting those other foods on her tray and eventually she'll get used to seeing them and eat them.

    Good luck
