  1. If you want to teach Pre-school in a public or daycare setting then you will need an Early Childhood degree. Pay will depend on your experience and the area you're living in and the school your teaching at.

If however you want to teach Pre-school at a private school, a degree is not always necessary. I've been teaching Pre-school for 6 years now, without a degree, at 2 private Pre-schools. They prefer the 4 year old teacher to have an EC degree, but do not require it. There again, pay will depend on your experience, school and area you're in.

  2. If you want to be an effective/qualified pre-school teacher, earn a Bachelor's degree in early childhood education. The pay will depend on where you teach.

  3. Some places you need an associates but most you need a bachelor's. Pay would depend on your education level, where you teach and where you live.

  4. I've been teaching for 16 years without any degree. The pay depends on the school I make decent money.
