I need to know what courses need to be taken in order to get into this field, how long, and if there's a training program required, and what high school courses in high shool would be beneficial to take if I was looking to go into this field.

this is for a report in my medical science class, we have to pick an occupation and write about it, but it seems that all the one's I'm interested don't offer much information.

just in case you have more information, I'll post the questions I have to answer.

1. state the name of your occupation

2. what educational background is needed?

3. what is the estimated time to complete the training program?

4. What schools/colleges in Louisiana would provide this training? (List 2-3) If none are in Louisiana, where would you need to attend school?

5. What is the average income?

6. What personal traits are necessary for this job?

7. Describe the types of tasks you would be required to perform on the job.

8. Work Environment: What facilities (hospitals, clinics, etc.) would require this occupation? Does it require shift work or do you work standard office hours?

9. What job hazards may be present?

10. Is there room to advance to another job? If so, what types of jobs? Would it require additional training?

11. Do you need to be licensed to practice in this state? IF so, how often does it need to be renewed?

12. What high school courses would be beneficial in preparing for this career?

13. What high school part-time job or voluntary service would give you greater insight into this career?

thank you for anything you may have helped with
