After so many years of the tragedy, I think its relevance lies in the prospective safeguards only. Market forces determine the utility of a place for business or industry. With the growing needs of the people of Bhopal and the state of MP as a whole, one can't put a stop for the further industrial/business growth of the area or for that matter its culture. Only we need to be extra vigilant this time and ensure proper safeguards against any forseeable mishaps. In the long run, life would move on as usual and as long as memory of this trededy would remain live, people would be cautious but moving.
