  1. When burned, it leaves byproduct.  When venting to the air, it will volatilize as its components:  Benzene, Ethyl Benzene, Toluene, and Xylenes (and other compounds).

    Long term exposure to benzene can cause health problems.


  2. A long time ago we didn't know it had any effect. Everybody was scratching their head. "Where is all this smoke coming from?"
