  1. Great stuff. Its nice for pain blocking  for surgery, or long term pain in a joint or limb for a non raced horse. It has no severe effect on the GI system, which is great as most do and colic is always a worrisome problem with an injured horse.  Many use for training as it has lasting effect  on pain and well being, two things rough competition take a toll on.

I do not use it on horses competing in the next few days of use,as they might test positive  up to 24 hours after use, but  injured ones respond well to it. Your dentist might use it on  you! ,say, for  a root canal, for a longer less stressful releif. You can buy it Canada and most of the UK, in the States it requires a vet or dr.'s  scrip.

  2. You need to ask a vet this question-and most of the people who are contributors aren't vets. My guess would be that these drugs will relieve pain and they may make the horse a little more active ( epinephrine is a natural stimulant and mood enhancer, and a version of it is used in many of the anti-depressants that are prescribed for people) and lively. But be aware that if you use this combination in a horse that is competing or racing, you will almost certainly be caught, fined, and you could go to jail for a short while in some states. Mood enhancers and stimulants are banned substances in both the racing and show industries. That is something to consider before you use this drug combination in a competitive horse.
