What effect does vicodin have on my body?

i've been taking vicodin every other day for pain,today when i woke up my right side lower back is sore,only when i move

Painkillers basically stop your digestive track from working properly.  You may have trapped gas or something like that.  You need a lot of extra fiber, less meat, no fried foods and no soda until this is over.  You may need a laxative, but hold off until you try other things.  Eat more oatmeall (long-cook not instant), prunes, chunky applesauce and sprouts. .
