  1. Well water is affected by the an(I forgot the name) effect and when water evaporates the water vapor is just above the water. Wind moves the vapor and that allows the effect to take a greater affect.


  2. All depend on the relative humidity of wind, speed of wind and the temperature around the area.  the rate of vaporization are different.
