I personally cringe when I hear a celebrity making a political endorsement! I can get past it if I see that they actually know what the candidate their endorsing stands for and believes in and that they truly care about the issues! It's just that the initial realization of it makes me automatically think "p.r. stunt" and "stop telling ur fans to vote for somebody when u are not informed about their views or the issues"! What say u?

  1. I vote against anyone they support. Why, just look at the products they produce now days.

  2. michelle, "What say u?" I say there is not much difference in politicians&celebrities! Clint,Ronald,Sonny,Arnold,Jessi,Etc.Some have more expirience than others @ play-acting @ times it's politician/celebrity or celebrity/politician.....WILL THE REAL CANDIDATE PLEASE STAND-UP!!!!!

  3. Depends on the Celebrity, and then only in a negative way.

For example, I would automatically vote against any one Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn, Madonna, The Dixie Chicks and the like would endorse.  Several of these jaw flappers PROMISED to leave the US if W was elected, but they didn't..

Celebs are just people, and unfortunately many of them do not understand that they are no more important than any one else

  4. I look at it this way.  People have the right to support whoever they want.  But, it doesn't have any effect on me whatsoever.  But, when someone gets to politically involved that that's all they talk about I can't take it.  I can't even enjoy a George Clooney movie anymore because I know what a liberal he is.

  5. None, what can a Basketball player know about the economy or government; same for the Hollywood nut bags. Give me a middle class woman from a working class family any day.
