  1. : D

  2. It'll be boring

  3. Dont forget Ross Taylor he will be a big loss for the royal challengers as it leaves them with no super aggressive batsman. not to mention his massive 119m sixes

  4. Well now at least you can see who the BEST players in the world are..

A very big CONGRATS to Brendan McCullum, and all the Aussie boys...they showed why the IPL were willing to pay big dollars to "buy" all of them, they all are world class players who are COMING HOME!!!

I think the IPL was useless, that's why i never watched 1 single match, but now it is loosing all of their best hitters it is going to amount to nothing but a waste of money....

Good luck to the remaining Aussie's who will stay to finish the IPL....

  5. IPL will change. Many teams will not have their superstars that they paid 120,000-1,000,000 for them to play. Gilly might not be leaving but his team mates are and think how it makes him feel that he was going to play against or with his teammates for the last time? The team most effected would be Kolkatta and yes it would be happy Smith from SA and many stars from Pakistan. But i think it was a bad time for IPL to start. It wouldn't be same without the Aussies.

  6. Players may come and go but the show will go on.

  7. I think their leaving will provide better opportunities to Indian players to prove their talent.

  8. Mostly it may effect the teams that have Aus and Kiwi players

and that may bring par with other teams. All the Aus players

have excelled well in IPL games, but teams such as Chennai

will be OK as they still have other hard hitting batsman.

Teams like Hyderabad - Symonds living may have an affect.

It also provide a chance to other players to pitch in and contribute. So even though they will be missed, but there are

few opportunities for others to excel. The retired players are

going to stay - Gilly, McGrath, Warne, Fleming and they will

do good as long as they play.

  9. australian players have dominated , it would be hard to repalce them

  10. Rajasthan Royals will win IPL finals!

  11. Yes, it will be effective to the Deccan Chargers and Chennai but I don't think that it will affect the Knight riders as Ponting was rubbish and McCullm played well only aganst Bangalore.

Punjab would probably be more or less the same without Brett Lee and James Hopes

  12. The effect will definitely be felt  when the highest scorer, the biggest hitter, the fastest bowler and the best fielders leave - there cannot be any doubt that the quality will drop.

However the chance for India's young up and coming players to shine under mentor's such as Gilly, Warney and McGrath is going to be something of interest to most cricket fans.
