What effect will new noise abatement enforcement have on crime in Kingston?

What effect will earlier lock-off times have on kingston's crime?

Do you think forcing events to be over at 12am (weekdays) and 2am (weekends), will increase or decrease incidents of murder and other serious crime in Kingston? Or do you expect it to have no effect?

Has it had an effect so far?

It has not had an effect so far. And I dont think it will. That will just cause more crime to spark up, it has already sent up the crime rate high. We as people of jamaica dont have too much, and if they try to limit the fun and enjoyment that we have of course people are going to react to it with violence. They need to go hunt down real criminals and leave wi mek wi party cause if they think closing the party off early is going to stop crime they are making a sad mistake.

I will say No, it will not decreace violence.

Yes, it has an effect on dances and party goers, I used to be able to go  to fashion Sunday's in Standpipe, about 2am and bout 4:30 go to another spot. All of that has since changed. The last time I went to Fashion Sundays it ended at 2am on the dot, not to mention the red seam were outside. We then tried going to Escapre in New Kingston which was DEAD.

I am worried for major events like ATI, STING, SUMFEST, etc..although I read Sumfest will be allowed to go until 4am or so, the thing is in Jamaica we normally party til inna di mawnin.

Lastly, as far as violence, it will not curve it, cause if people waan gwan wid badness, dem ah gwan wid badness sed way. The dances have nothing to do wid violence, its the political warfare, the lying and tricking of poor people, guns (that are not manufactured in JA, that are all over the streets, go figure....most weapons found in JA say made in USA), and the deportees that are causing violence.
