  1. gibbs teams cheat, thats why tony wants out.they are cheaters thats why they are wining everything

  2. They had to hide the fact that they had similar horsepower with the Nationwide cars and made it look like they had less, so that NASCAR wouldn't penalize their hard work again for finding an advantage. In the old days they would have been congratulated for making more horsepower, but not anymore...

  3. The magnet only serves as a quick way for a cheater  to put a spacer under the gas pedal so if NASCAR throws a surprise engine horsepower test (for fairness) and they test the motor then the engine will not rev up to it highest potential so that Toyota looks like they don't have an advantage over everyone else. They got caught.

I like Kyle too. I really do.

  4. It either keeps the throttle from going too far down or it screws with the computer reading.  Anyway, JGR is screwed out of a lot of points and cash.

  5. it makes for lots of lively conversation...

    ;-)

  6. the only thing i can think of is that the magnets are magnets just so that they stick onto the gas pedal.

  7. It keeps the gas pedal from going all the way to the floor board thus making it look like the engine is producing less power than it really is.

  8. Simply put, they got caught "cheating" why oh why is this so, i really do not understand it, they had no reason too, they were outclassing the field and to do this and possibly get points taken away,,this is a critical mistake by the shop guys without the drivers knowledge and it makes me MAD!!!!!

  9. it "fakes out" the dynomometer into thinking the full powerband is being used, because it never gets the engines actual "high" reading. So when the magnet is removed you just have that much more throttle opening,

  10. Yeah I agree Toyotas make too much power. I should have had a magnet under my pedal and maybe I wouldn't have toasted my tranny with all the horsepower it had to hold. Well maybe this performance built one will hold up with all the mods I have.  I'm having it installed on Thursday and then having it dynoed too. Hopefully a trip to the track will follow in the next week or two.
