What effects does the Pacific Ocean has on the climate of Arizona.?

  1. It doesn't have that much effect. Arizona is located well inland from the Pacific Ocean and is quite mountainous so the clouds and rain are largely dissipated by the time they reach there. However, Arizona is also located in the Sonoran Desert, which is the lowest and hottest of all the four main deserts in the US. This desert is also unique in that it has two distinct rainy seasons. Much of that moisture comes in from the Gulf Of Mexico during the summer months.
