What electives did you take in High School?

I want some ideas of good electives to take :)

I actually don't remember any other than home ec and one year I had a study hall

My senior year was HARD - Biology II, Anatomy and Physiology, Physics, and Trig/Calculus in the morning - Civics, French, and English in the afternoon

I don't think ANY of those are "electives"

My son takes band and had drama last year

you'll almost always need to know how to type in life, so my freshman year, i took typing. now this year, i'm taking microsoft word and excel. in my junior year, i plan on taking small business management. then, for my senior year, i'm not sure. i will probably take another business elective.

As I'll only be a sophomore this year, my freshman year I took:

Creative Writing

and

Intro to Multimedia.

booring. haha. But this year I really looked for things I'd enjoy. I'm up for (hopefully) TV Production and my back ups are Culinary Arts and Child Growth and Development.

im taking graphic design this year and then music technology next year but after that i don't know what to take. I've heard music technology is pretty fun if your into music.

If you don't know how to type (using home row keys, or if you don't know what "home row" means), take a typing/keyboarding class!  I use what I learned in that class every day of my life!  It can be boring and tedious at times typing: fffffgfgfg...but it's SOOO helpful!

Other than that, look at the classes your school offers, and choose things that sounds interesting to you or something you think may benefit you in the future.
