While you're waiting for one to actually appear on the market, go buy yourself a car that runs on methane (natural gas). I have 2 of them, and they're great! Very clean, very cheap to fill up, and they weren't expensive to buy (used). Check out my sources below and see if this type of car would work for you. Good luck!
