  1. 2 pin and 220volt

  2. same as the ones in germany(and most of europe I think)

http://www.anes.com.tr/prizler/107.jpg like this one but the newer ones also a have a ground link

I think its called a CEE 7/16 socket

    Turkey operates on 220 volts,

you should be able to buy international adapters in hardware stores(in Turkey), I was able to find adapters for the US socket at my local electrician(hardware) store

if you ask me most of my plugs look like this one CEE 7-7 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:CEE_7... the pins seems to be a little farther apart compared to the CEE7/16 (but I they are compatible with each other)

  3. Like everybody has mentioned, you need a two pin European outlet.  Just make sure that the volts of the hair dryer are within 220 or it could blow up.  That's what happened to my alarm clock which exceeded the limited volts and now it's broken.

  4. same as in spain the euro type

  5. 2 pin 220 volts.

  6. It is the common 2pin continental plug, u should be able to buy the adapter in Boots, have a good hol

  7. I travel to Turkey every summer and from experience I can say that buying a hairdryer there will be cheaper than buying an adaptor ... Depends on where you go tho If your going to Istanbul there will probably be a hairdryer availabe there in the rooms most of the time

  8. well here is 2 pin standard in all over Europe, with voltage 220 well it would be good if she carry on her on hair dryer but if you will stay in a hotel its very common to find them in the bathrooms of every room.
