  1. I do think a few feminists have gone overboard with what they would like to see done. (Most of this is regarding the wage gap; not enough feminists realize exactly how much, or how little, of it is due to discrimination.) But other than that, fighting against media stereotyping (against men and women), discrimination against parents and pregnant women, and violations of human rights laws overseas seem reasonable.

  2. Oportunities on political participation.

  3. Dude,

You are so uniformed it is almost embarrassing. There is no wage gap.

    Redeem yourself and get educated.

You must read Doddlebug for your penance.

  4. Fighting for...nothing.  I support equal access for men to their children in custody cases.  I think women should have the same right as a man to a bank loan, insurance coverage, fairness in the court system...but not MORE than men...I think men and women are individuals, gifted, talented, special in their own way.

  5. I think it is pretty much equal by now except for the wage gap. There is nothing more to fight about. I think to days rights are OK I don't think feminist should try to win women more it's unnecessary since our privileges are equal.

  6. Actually, given the current economy, the age gap IS the most serious issue facing us today. Less money means more sacrifices and many women have children they are trying to raise on their own and working the exact same jobs men are for 1/3 or more less. So no, I do not believe it is going overboard at all. Believe me, if men felt shortchanged about something we would all be hearing about it 24/7.

  7. I think your question doesn't really matter.  As you said seriously you think we have gone overboard and from the sound of it anything we say you will judge its worthiness.  So I would prefer to say I think I will continue to do what I am doing with or without permission.
