  9. have children:

cut out circles, 1 black, 1 red.

cut the red circle in half

paste halves of circles onto black circle (in a *V* sorta shape, like lady bug wings)

use paint or markers to make the dots on red wings of ladybugs

    add to block center

    simple lady bug game:

teacher makes smaller version of the same.....hide throughout Block Center (hide and seek)

  10. You could put magnifying glasses to look at the ladybugs.  I think I am the only one who knows what you are referring too!  You could see if a parent has a ladybug costume (usually a baby costume) to use.  Books are always great too.  I have a great book on ladybugs for Preschoolers.  Look into getting a few!

  11. what is all this ladybug stuff?

  12. maybe ladybug table tv book

  13. Draw/write on the walls step by step how u can draw a ladybug.

    simple and easy.

    Hope everything goes well.

  14. Aww ladybugs are so endearing!!

Hmm... well you can paint the walls red and put black dots... but not too much or else it'll look like some death metal thing (LOL), get some greens, i.e. big leaves, cut out some ladybug shaped paper, and paste them on the walls (make sure the walls aren't painted lady bug color firsT~~)

Or, you can make a paper tree and paste it onto the wall- attach a leaf to the tree for each of your students, and cut a lady bug shape and stick their picture there... make sure all are made of paper and can be easily removed... For the paper tree, use brown paper for the bark; green for the leaves and red and black for the lady bugs....

    hope this helps!

  15. Hi

You can add the book "The Grouchy Ladybug"

then add props that go with the books..so the kids can act it out if they want to. You can use plastic animals, etc.) You can also add pictures of those animals.

You can also put a lady bug shape on a large piece of cardboard and many different size round blocks. Have the children trace the circle blocks onto the posterboard and then they can color at the table. Then you can cut it out and hang it up in the block area. You can write the size of the circle..measure it, etc.

Another idea is ..you can trace the blocks yourself into a lady bug on a piece of paper (2 1/2 circle blocks for wings, 1 circle for body/head or aphids, etc) and then laminate. then have the children match up the blocks to make the lady bug (sorta like a puzzle).

    I hope these helped!

You can add props like potted plants (where ladybugs eat off of..) the children can make flower boxes for the lady bugs out of blocks, etc.

what kind of blocks you using..if cloth..you can add velcro pieces of felt and they can add their own dots ..and you can turn it into a math game...etc.

put on nature music in the back ground!

  16. i do not understand what you are asking.
