What else can I put in my gerbil cage? =)?

I'm looking for things to put in my gerbil cage. It's this one-

The platforms can be removed to give more space and I've got a hay rack for their bedding, as well as a wooden log in the tank itself.

you can put tubes for your friend to run around in. and a runners wheel that is all i have in mine cause i do not spoil mine.

Oh wow, that cage looks great.

Well, anything wooden works well with gerbils. You could buy a wooden house, or you could buy a metal wheel (closed, no rungs). I've seen someone use a little wicker basket as a kind of hanging bed, but that won't last long. You could also use put a small ceramic pot in there for them to hide in.

How about a small metal dog bowl filled with Chinchilla Sand? About half an inch would do. They love having a good roll around in it to get their coat lovely and clean. I would use Chinchilla sand not Chinchilla dust as the dust can irritate the Gerbils nose/lungs.

Don't leave it in for too long otherwise they will start using it as a litter tray! Although it would make cleaning alot easier!

They LOVE those cardboard toilet paper rolls.  They are okay for them to shred and play in and easy to clean up and replace, not to mention, cheap!  Have fun.
