What else can I use to kill weed, besides glyphosate base product?

If you want a chemical free,cost effective and efficient way use the Weed Dragon.  You singe the weeds, not burn, and it kills them!!  Hook it to a propane tank and carry it around.  When I am not killing weeds, I use it to melt ice in the winter!

you can boil them alive with a purpose made hand held gas burner, sorry dont know brand name.

Glyphosate is the product that you need.  Other products simply don't do the job or leave the soil infertile like Sodium Chlorate.

Depending on the area involved,also the future use for the area,Sodium Chlorate is an effective and inexpensive weedkiller.Disadvantages are that it needs careful handling,being toxic and inflammable.Also,soil is sterile after using this,no other planting will survive for some time.

Covering the weeds with light excluding material,old carpet,sacking etc;will kill them by preventing photosynthesis.

Applying neat domestic bleach to individual weeds works,wear gloves,eye protection if employing this method.

Scalding hot water will kill weeds.  Be careful and you might need a second application.  I've also heard that vinegar will kill weeds but haven't tried it.
