Okay, i have 3 female bettas, and a bunch of bottom feeders ( small loaches, shrimp, and one small catfish). what else can go with them, i have enough space for one more fish, and i like weird fish, so no danios or tetras.

what about silver dollars? will they be okay. Glo-Fish?

any other good ones?

  1. No silver dollars.  They do best in a school of 4-6, and get too big for your tank.  I'd recommend a dwarf gourami of some kind.  Any tetras would also need to be in a school.  A frog could add interest to your tank, as could an upside down catfish.

  2. how big is the tank? if its a 10gal then thats good

  3. no silver dollars

but you can add a school of 6 glofish

as well as another school of maybe 6 rummy nose tetras

  4. Wow. You're gonna have some dead fish soon. Bettas are frickin aggressive, and they'll attack other bettas plus anything smaller than them. They'll also attack anything with flowing fins or flashy scales. BBBuuutttt...if you're one of those freak cases where your bettas somehow magically get along...how about a kuhli loach...i think they're cool...=D

  5. what size tank? can't recommend anything without knowing the tank size.

glofish are zebra danios. silver dollars need 45-55 gallons minimum.

edit: how many small loaches/what kind of shrimp/what species of catfish?

depending on numbers, a shoal of harlequin rasboras maybe.
