  1. My baby was always stuffed up at that age.  The only other thing besides what you have been doing is put a small pillow UNDER his mattress so his head is raised.  Other than that, you just have to wait for him to grow out of it...our doctor told us that small sinuses are easily clogged and that stuffy babies aren't uncommon.  Min grew out of it by 3 months.

  2. I have the exact same answer as Grandma of 2!!

  3. sounds like you're doin everything i did for my son...but i used a steam humidifier with that vicks liquid for it...maybe you could try that since the doc okayed the rub...good luck!

  4. My son was sick a couple of week ago and I used the saline spray and chest rub like crazy. I took the chest rub and rubbed it into his back and chest/neck then I put his pj's on and wrapped him in a blanket. It seem to make him feel so much better. Also make sure you are keeping him on a slight incline as much as possible...that helps a lot too. Unfortunately when they are so little it's much harder to make them comfortable.

  5. baby vics it also has lavender in it and i put it on her chest and nose clears her up enough for the nose sucker to work

  6. It's sound like you are doing a lot of the right things.  A babies stuffiness comes a lot from feeding him/her in a laying down position.  You might try sitting the baby in a more upright position when feeding.  Also take a bed pillow and place it under the mattress at the head of bed so it is slightly at an incline.  That way babies head will be slightly higher than it's feet.  Not so high that baby slides down the mattress...just a small incline.  Continue to use the mist machine and chest rub.  Most times babies will outgrow this.  It's more annoying for the mother to listen to than anything else.

  7. If you are breastfeeding, take a claritin. It is safe for breastfeeding babies and I noticed only a small amount suitable for babies goes thru to the breastmilk.
