  1. Tuna pate with marinated olives

    1 x 425g can tuna drained

    1 tablespoon bourbon whiskey, optional

    100 g butter chopped

    1 tablespoon finely grated lemon rind

    1/2 teaspoon chilli powder

    4 anchovy fillets

    sea salt and cracked black-pepper

    crusty bread to serve

    Place Tuna, whiskey, butter, lemon rind, chilli powder, anchovies, salt and pepper in bowl of a food processor and process for 2-3 minutes or until smooth. Spoon the pate into a dish and refrigerate for about 1 hour or until firm. Serve with crusty bread.

  5. Tuna Noodle Casserole

    My mom used to just boil noodles (any) drain and stir in a can of mushroom soup, add tuna, chopped onion, garlic, sliced green olives, (trust me, it works) salt and pepper to taste, top with shredded cheddar and bake @350 until cheese is hot and bubbly and lightly browned.

  6. tuna melt! mix tuna mayo salt and celery and or onions. put it on an english muffin or bread then put cheese on top and pop it in the oven. mmm

  7. Add canned tuna to your favourite pasta salad.  You can also toss it into a green lettuce salad.  Then there's salad nicoise....

  8. i hate the stuff. usually won't touch it with a 10 foot pole. my dh, on the other hand, loves it. i saw paula deen make this a few years back, and out of pure love for my dh, i made them one night. needless to say, they are now a staple in our house. even i love them, and that says a lot!!! the fact that they're quick, cheap, and easy doesn't hurt either ;)

    Tuna Burger

    2 (6-ounce) cans solid white tuna, drained

    1/2 cup breadcrumbs

    2 large eggs, lightly beaten

    1/2 cup finely chopped onion

    1/2 cup finely chopped celery

    1 tablespoon chopped pimento, optional

    1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

    1 1/2 teaspoons prepared horseradish

    1 clove garlic, minced

    1/4 teaspoon pepper

    1 tablespoon olive oil

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

    In a large bowl, combine the tuna, bread crumbs, and egg, and stir lightly. Add the onion, celery, pimento (if using), lemon juice, horseradish, garlic, and pepper, and mix again. Form the mixture into 4 patties. Heat the oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat and cook the patties, covered, until golden brown. Carefully flip the patties and cook the other side for 5 minutes. Finish baking in the oven until golden brown.
