What else could I get that does the same thing??

I have a "IM Free" unit that looks like this http://www.buymebuyme.com/retail/skin1/prodimages/44803.jpgand the battery is dead and they don't make it anymore. You hook the base to the computer and then you can wirelessly talk using AIM anywhere within the range of the base. What else is similar to this that I could buy?? I know you can do this with cell phones but its expensive and the screens and such are too small for me and I don't have a cell phone made for "texting"!! Also I know you can do that on the computer but I want something that you don't have to be directly on the computer to talk!! Thanks!!
