What else do I need for an eBay business?

I've been doing some reading and research on how to start a business. I need a sellers permit (I'm based in California, just in case you need to know) and I am working on getting one. What else do I need? What type of taxes will I have to pay? Do I also need to file a Business Registration form (Sole Proprietorship)?

Unless you are selling a product that is regulated by the government you really do not require anything to start. Talk to your accountant about sales taxes if its applicable to what you will be doing.You will have to keep track of profit and expenses for income taxes.
