What else should I do?.....?

It's been 69 days since my last period (June 16, 2008) I took 1 hpt, 1 dr. urine test and 2 blood tests (all negative). I'm actually waiting for the results of the 2nd blood test (took this week). I don't know what else to have my Dr. do. She doesn't think I'm pregnant and keeps suggesting I take some meds that will force my period to start. I refused that because it just doesn't seem natural. It's time for my yearly pap...should I get that or should I be having something else done to find out what is going on? I was considering having an ultrasound if absolutely necessary.

BTW I haven't had any spotting, cramping, neither period nor pregnancy symptoms. I feel completely fine but it's not like me to have irregular cycles, let alone SKIP 2 months. I don't know what else to do. My doc said she will look for hormonal imbalance, preg and thyroid probs in my blood test. If the blood test comes back fine, what else should I do?

  1. This happened to my friend and she was not pregnant. They ended up scheduling an ultrasound for her, but she finally got her period the day prior to the appointment. You should definitely still get your Pap done. If you are pregnant, you will need one anyway.

So, ask for an ultrasound to make sure before taking any medicine like what you described and definitely get your pap.

  2. Hold on it may be cause by sick or stress and listen to your doctor's advice.
