Question:

What else to feed tree frogs?

i have 2 whites green tree frogs (dumpy frogs) and one small tree frog and the pet stores are closed on sundays and was wondering if there was anything besides crickets that i could get at a bait shop to feed them just for a day please help

  1. They can also eat meal worms, calci-wroms, wax worms, fruit flies(nt sure if bait shop will have, but ask), and if they are big enough (over 4 inches) they can also eat superworms. I can find all of these at my local bait shop. You will probabl do best with meal worms - just put a few in a small container/bowl in the tank.

  3. we fed ours a few maggots from a bait shop and they loved them, the good thing is once the maggots crystallize you can put them in the cage and they hatch into flies our frogs go made for them and they are a cheap natural treat for them, and makes a change from the normal crickets, but you can also dig up some earth worms as well
