What energy drink is used in the new york marathon

Gatorade, Endurance formula.  But be forewarned that it is from a powder mix and they make thousands of gallons of it, so the mixing is imprecise.  I usually take a gatorade and a water at the same stand and mix them.

why not watch a video of it and look out for sponserers they are likley to be the people who supply the energy drink or look at photos of the marathon and goodie bags online to see who supplies the energy drink
