  1. Before trying an energy drink here are some suggetions.

    Get plenty of sleep. There simply is no replacement and no amount of stimulants will work after a few days of lack of sleep.

    Drink plenty of water. Proper hydration will increase your motabolism and energy levles by 3%. The first thing I do when I get up is drink 2 glasses and I am fine.

    Eat a good breakfast. It really is the most important meal of the day. It should really help you go.

    Get proper nutrition with good quality supplements. We cannot get all we need from eating alone. The RDA/RDI was established as the minimum amounts needed to prevent nutritional deficiency diseases. For optimal health we simply need more. Proper supplements will increase energy too. Most supplements available in stores and pharmacies simply are not worth the money though.

    Now if after all of this you still need a boost then try a healthy energy drink. XS Energy, 5 Hour Energy, and Stacker's 6 Hour Power are the ones to choose here. They don't use sugar and increased the B vitamins which are essential for energy and alertness. Regular energy drinks have some B vitamins but hardly more than what caffeine depletes our bodies of though. Since B vitamins are so essential for energy and caffeine removes many of them the healthy ones are simply the only real choose of energy drinks.


  2. Forget the energy drinks you need a source of carbohydrates which release their energy into the body gradually.

    Porridge oats would be a good choice if the weather is cold but any cereal with cold milk is better in a warm climate.

    Many Chinese and Thai people make a type of rice porridge (Congee) which really keeps you going for hours.

    They can cause you to die at a younger age and are terrible for you...go to bed earlier and maybe have some pop that contains caffeine or maybe coffee
