  1. more fire wood and coal

  2. I've got a wood stove that I fuel with downed trees, junk mail or construction waste.    If going into a room for just a second to get something I use a LED flashlight that uses batteries from work that were thrown out since they don't have enough charge to run whatever they were orriginally used for anymore.     If I'm real lazy and don't want to start the stove, I just put on a sweater or coat as long as its above freezing inside.

  3. I live in a Strawbale house in Northern AZ, I designed it to be really user friendly, it is totally off the grid ( no power lines nearby, thank God), I have 6x75watt panels and a wind generator, I collect my water off my powder coated steel roof, use self built composting toilets, heat with a wood stove , open the windows for A/C, my stove, water heater (on demand), clothes dryer are all propane, my washer is a Staber (made in OHIO ) is really great as it uses less water and soap, so life is really GOOD if you take the time to RESEARCH and make a commitment to take care of YOURSELF. We can all do our bit to be good stewards of this wonderful planet we must look inside ourselves and make changes.

  4. None. I voluntarily pay my local utility extra to purchase clean energy.

  5. You know I had a similar conversation with a LIbtard about ten years ago when he complained about so many jobs going overseas and it was because of our government....

I then asked a series of questions....

The result of which were that this libtard.....

Has driven a toyota for ten years

Had a Toshiba and  a Mitsubishi television

Was looking to purchase a Volvo

    Drive a Kawasaki motorcycle

    Had a Honda lawn mower

    Listened to a Sony stereo

So, I sadly informed this person that 'Corporate America' was merely doing the exact same thing that American citizens have been doing for over forty years.

So, don't expect Libtard mentality to change...  They do absolutely nothing but complain.

  6. I have a bank of batteries supplied by solar and wind power. I use some of this electricty (surplus) to break hydrogen loose from my water tanks to power my vehicle. My rotary(wankel cycle) engine is tuned to hydrogen well enough to be fully depedable at every instance. I Heat my home with hydrogen as well. My oven and stove are very efficient and my dryer is excellent as well,on hydrogen gas. I utilize a water wheel supply of energy to drive many of my conviences as well. The electric and water supplier to my community is a total *** to me for my private endeavours. They don't understand why they owe me so much!

  7. I have solar water heating and a house I designed and built to use passive solar heating as well as being highly insulated and highly sealed. I use renewable microgeneration for electricity. The house has a value about 30% above market levels because of this. I am not, as one contributor seems to think all people with a concern for the environment are, a "Libtard" - whatever that may. I spent 20 years making multi-million dollar decisions on a daily basis but clearly I don't exist as far as the deniers are concerned because I don't fit some sort of idiotic stereotype that they seem to have created in defense of their entrenched positions.
