I now travel long distance in my job as my work requires me to, but my petrol goes no were on those long motorway rides because my engine size is too small.

What is my best option....

Find a new Citreon engine of some sort (1.8 or above)

or just buy a new car (dont really want to cant afford it and I like my car)

But I would like to know if it can be done, how costly it may be and how hard it is to do.

  1. It can be done...but its costly and time consuming. I would suggest a Renault 1.9 liter diesel engine (Renault own Citroen). Its very economical, smooth, and lots of grunt. I would guess about $7000 - $10,000. Remember its not just the engine, you have to also hook it all up and get all the bits working smoothly.
