  1. At age 16, 50cc vehicle only, this can either be a bike, or a bike that has been converted into a car with the same size engine.

    Age 16 - 50cc vehicle

    Age 17 - 125cc vehicle

Age 21 - All sizes, 125cc and over

Bikes will come up to about 600cc usually, but you may be able to get up to 1000 on some, it's highly debaitable.

    ------------

You will have to obviously apply for a provissional driving licence (green photocard) and take a CBT, compulsory basic training, ride with 'L' plates on at all times, no passengers, lasts for 2 years.

You then need to take theory test, and practical test, otherwise your CBT will expire, and you'll be taking it all over again.

  4. If you are 16 you can ride a moped which is anything up to 50cc and if you are 17 or over you can ride a scooter or bike up to 125cc. The CBT which is a day long course you have to take to validate your provisional license is valid for 2 years. Price for a CBT is around £100
