What environmental issue scares you most?

People.Just from reading on here they would kill off half the planet to preserve themselves,they think they do no wrong,that is becoming a mind set,a very dangerous one.People with all the good intentions will do many harms in the name of good.And you forget God is in charge no matter how much you want to to be.I am all for taking care of the things we can as a way of life but I refuse to get all upset over a slogan.

i think it is global warming because if it happens it could be more disastrous than world wars

Human Over Population.

Currently at over 6.5 BILLION and growing...

we are currently our own biggest threat to continued existance.. The United Nations even warned that our over population is the #1 threat to our survival.. and they place the sustatainable level at about 5 BILLION..

many scientists argue that 500 Million is more reasonable.

EVERY person consumes.. every person rapes the planet.. we take up space.. we eat.. we pollute.. we buy junk we dont need for no reason... stuff made in very environmentally unfriendly ways...

even 1 kid is growth.. because we are living longer - that one child doesnt replace us, or our parents... and sometimes not even our grandparents..

There is simply no way around the fact that EVERY environmentally (and most social problems) can be traced to HUMAN OVER POPULATION...

The government doesnt want you to know this... they want more people because more people = more taxes!!!

Honestly there are so mny important issues the ozone global warming our recourses running out by 2040! the human species is very ridiculous sometimes. this planet is the only thing we have and all we are doing is destroying it. global warming scares me the most. we already see the esffect what about our kids or grandkids we need to act now before we end in tragedy im only 15 but i want to help so if theres any clubs or anything you know about tell me about it please

Overpopulation.  The reason the earth is in trouble is because there are to many people.  The earth's population is not sustainable.

Water. Everything comes down to drinkable water. It's stupid for society to continue to move to the American southwest and similar regions. It's stupid to waste water irrigating arid lands to grow crops out of season just so we can have the same foods all year round in our groceries. Genetically modified seeds, pesticides, etc. would be my secondary concern. But water is the key to life.

I would have to say the Global Climate Change.  It is scary that because of the politics and money involved little is being done.  Most other problems are at least being addressed.

September 22, 2012.  According to Mayans, there is to be an environmental disaster of unprecedented destruction.  But, till then, our species has grossly misused the water supply God gave us! The almighty dollar won't matter when we are surrounded by water WE CANT DRINK!
