Hello I live in Philadelphia in a rowhome. They knocked down a home next to mine years ago & the city stuccoed my wall. Then someone bought the lot and built a garage that is connected to my wall, but it is only 1 story. I now need to re-cement or stucco the 2nd story of the wall. My husband knows how to do it himself but he doesnt know how to get up there. Whats the CHEAPEST and easiest way? We were gonna rent one of those Genie's but I dont think it will reach over the garage far enough. Can we climb on the garage & build one of those stands? Any ideas? please help. Thanks in advance :)

  1. If the area to be repaired is small enough  and can be reached by  an extension ladder to the second floor (approx 16 ft), then there you go. You can rent them for a couple of dollars a day. Or may you have to rent a section or two of scaffolding on wheels (with locks)  to use as a work platform. Either way renting a Genie is the most expensive and takes more time to learn its operation than the average homeowner has for such a quickie job.
