  1. Caucasoid.

  2. HI :) Im Persian Armenian.. or Iranian Armenian.. somewhere down the line in our families, an armenian ancestor went from Armenia to Iran. I recently learned that for some of us Iranian Armenians, they could have moved way back in the 1600s. Anyway, so my great grandparents and grandparents and parents were all born in Iran (I don't know who in my ancestory moved from Armenia to Iran) Therefore, making them Iranian Armenians.. then they came to the U.S. and had me! now to answer your question.. All of this makes me Iranian Armenian, yet our mother language is Armenian, but we throw in some Persian words here and there. I would probably say were are considered Caucasian. Usually when you fill out a form asking you of your ethnicity, you don't see Middle Eastern, or Indo European.. so I know I've filled out Caucasian.. even though it's nearly innacurate.. lol

  3. Both Persian and Armenian are branches of Indo-European, the same linguistic group that contains English, French, Greek, etc. Therefore, they are Caucasian.

  4. Persians are Iranian. Im not sure about Armenian, they look Greek, which I guess would be caucasian.

  5. Persian-Armenian is not an ethnicity. It just means an "Armenian" who was born or has family that comes from Iran. Armenians are a diaspora, we are ALL OVER THE WORLD. Since Iran is so close to Armenia, there are various reasons Armenians went to or were forced to live there.

But Armenians in general are considered Caucasian since we are from the Caucus mountains.

  6. if i were persian i would say "other"....i believe "caucasian" implies european descent.

  7. It sounds like you're talking about race, not ethnicity.  Persia is modern day Iran though, if that helps.

  8. Caucasian. & most of Europe's peoples came out of this general region some 10-40 thousand years ago.

  9. contrary to the very first poster this is not race it is ethnicity and i would say it is indo-iranian.
