the whole point of genealogy is to not guess what something 'might' be.  Any name CAN come from more than one location.. and nationality is not the same as ethnicity at all.  For example.. a person named Lee might be White, Black or Chinese.

If the name comes from Spain (and not saying it does), this does NOT prove that the person is Spanish, or anything else.
