What ever became of Jim Bowie's knife after the Alamo fell ?

That question has been seriously researched and there is no real conclusion.  

You can write your own story... it was taken by one of the men who broke into his room where he was sick in bed and then dragged him away for execution... or it was taken by Gen. Santa Anna back to Mexico City... or it was buried at the Alamo... one story even said that one of the Mexican victors from the Alamo and the Battle of Goliad, had it  at the Battle of San Jacinto had and his throat sliced with it after the battle... or whatever else you want to believe...

you can make up your own story just like everyone else and you have as much of a chance as anyone of being correct.
