What ever happen Ronnie Ferraro the sensational apprentice jockey who was the leading jockey in 1961-62 ?

Ronnie Ferraro was the leading apprentice rider in 1962 the following year he rode some horses at Bowie Race Course in Maryland. Drop out of sight and never heard of him again.Any old horse racing fans out there give me clue.
