Barry Bonds is still a useful player, even at his age. Even with all of the drama involved, if his perjury case goes smoothly he will probably get a shot somewhere in 09. He won't be signed to play the rest of this season, since teams have already finalized their playoff rosters, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him crowding the plate and swinging a bat next summer. Love him or hate him, he can hit baseballs.
