I remember Robin very well, I wanted to be like her.

was born in 1944 she was 26 when she rode her fist race,

She came out to Calif Riding for the VANDERBUILTS

he was a bit in love with her  LOL

she was very pretty  

Any way she won close to 10 races and won around $20.000.00 her and Vanderbuilt broke up

and she married Fred Astaire

she quit  racing in around 1978

she did ride in New York mostly

In Calif they had to make her own jocks  room,, Mr.Vanderbuilt did not want the other jockeys looking at her !

so they did

at that time he had allot of pull

She was a really descent jockey

not really short but small boned
