  1. I know the Sharks expected a lot out of him, but to get 25 - 34 - 59 as a rookie on an expansion team with 17 wins, was impressive.

To put this into perspective, my idol Guy Lafleur, was 29 - 35 - 64 as a rookie on a superior Canadiens team in 71 - 72.

To answer the first part of your question, it shows the differense in talent needed to succeed in juniors and the NHL.

  2. Take note, John Tavares fans!

  3. Right now he is playing beer league for Foxwarren in the North Central Hockey League.

There has always been a lot of speculation about what his issues were in the NHL.  I don't know that anyone besides he can answer that.  He had weight issues and earned the nickname "Fat Balloon".  The most logical of the speculation is that the game came easy to the man and he did not have the work ethic necessary to achieve in the NHL once things stopped being so easy to him.

  4. He is a retired hockey player he played nine seasons, with each of these teams. San Jose Sharks, Philadelphia Flyers, Ottawa Senators, Edmonton Oilers, Pittsburgh Penguins.
