What ever happened to narutos mother?

i heard his father had died but what about his mother what did she die to or something or did she run away with another ninja what? WHAT HAPPENED TO HER? o and plz don't be sitting going on about omg what a idiot he doesn't know listen i just want to know what happened to her no im not new to the show it just dawned upon me.

There is a 79.91% chance that she was killed by the nine tailed fox.  I am not new to it either

I assume she got killed during the ninja war, or after.

But hey, obviously Kishi is saving this for a surprise! Japanese manga creators never forget details like this. Its just to make us wonder :p

Who knows? It's not reveled yet but right now all when we think is she probably died too. Remember that Naruto was just born when his father died, his mom could die to... probably coz of the 9 Tailed Fox or giving birth to him 0_e

Talking in past tense about someone who is still alive is extremely disrespectful in Japan. There's no way Jiraiya or Tsunade would do that to Naruto's mom, just because of how they feel about him.

Actually, the manga has yet to reveal her whereabouts (dead or alive).  They talk about her in past tense, so it leads many to believe that she is dead.

But because they never actually use the phrase 'dead' when describing her state of being, many presume she went missing or AWOL.

Others question what happened to here after the Naruto's birth, how she died (if she did) or where she is now.

Bottom line is, it has yet to be revealed.
