I don't know man , I think he is fighting in DREAM now , but he is a kick *** fighter , and very underrated!

In 2008, it was announced that Kazushi Sakuraba would compete in the Middleweight Grand Prix of the new MMA promotion, DREAM.

On April 29, 2008, Sakuraba defeated Andrews Nakahara in the main event at Dream.2 Middle Weight Grandprix 2008 1st Round.

However, he was knocked out (and thus eliminated from the tournament) by Melvin Manhoef in the main event of Dream.4 Middle Weight Grandprix 2008 2nd Round.

During the match, Sakuraba suffered an ulnar fracture of the left forearm, which was caused by a kick from Manhoef.

Why is he fighting for DREAM and not for UFC? I'm not sure..

there are many difference rules between Pride and UFC. Most Pride fighters doesn't do very well in UFC because of it.

Maybe that's why Sakuraba is staying away from UFC?

he just fought royce gracie for a second time about 7 months ago. he lost by decision. but royce also tested positive for steroids.
