What ever happened to the Rhode Island Monster?

Was it just a shaved dg or what, I knew big foot was a fake but I think this thing is real, well is it?

From your description, it sounds like a north-eastern version of the Chupakabra (sp).  Those sightings almost always turn out to be mangy coyotes or wolves.

It was a hoax. I can't remember what animal it was. I think a sheep or a pig.

do you mean the Montauk Monster?

I am not sure if they ever figured out what it was... it had a beak, so my guess is that it was a de-shelled sea turtle, bloated and disfigured from decomposition after death.

It was a gorilla suit frozen in ice.  No Big Foot was found.
