  1. The North Pole is melting, the sea is rising, the temperature.

    is rising,

  2. http://youtube.com/watch?v=vgvnqv1-_D4

  3. The evidence is pretty obvious. The real question should be, why?

  4. The globe is warming. It has been for the last 15,000 years since the last ice age. More recently, the globe exited the Little Ice Age around 1850. Since that time, we have been more or less warming.

As far as evidence supporting man made warming, there is none.

  5. For the last 3 years the earths temperature has been cooling.  A fact the environmentalists "forget" to mention.  The earth heats up and cools down all the time.  Scientifically if the ice caps melt we should be worried about a new ice age more than overheating.  The melting of the ice caps would effect the natural flow of the gulf stream and temperatures would plummet.

It is said that the best lessons are learnt from history...historically we shouldn't be worried.

  6. Changing temperatures.  It's a cyclic thing.

The planet was once much warmer than today, so maybe we'll get back to that global warmth again one day.

After all, many more people die during the cold cycles than the warm ones.

  7. Look around you. It's getting hotter, the ice is melting and our weather has gone extreme. There's been droughts. Continous wildfires in California. Heat waves.

"In 2003, extreme heat waves claimed an estimated 35,000 lives in Europe. In France alone, nearly 15,000 people died due to soaring temperatures, which reached as high as 104 degrees Fahrenheit and remained extreme for two weeks. "

Some polar bears are drowning because they have to swim longer.

The climate is changing, it always is. But we're affecting it, making it worse.

  8. Natural Climate Change is presently occuring...it's why the Bering Land Bridge is currently submerged off the coast of Alaska and Siberia.

The process has been occuring naturally over the past 11,500years.

As far as AGW, or Anthropogenic Global Warming, none!  If you believe the so-called Documentaries out there...the melting glaciers should have already produced 9ft of sea level rise...not including what should also occur from thermal expansion.

Islands and Coastlines naturally degrade due to erosion from weather and sea.  In the case of the Hawaiin Islands, as the techtonic plate moves...the older islands sink.  A chain of submerged islands is seen with sea mapping and a new set of islands are appearing.

  9. Some monks in the british isles have been keeping track of when ash and oak trees bloom for the last 1000 years or so.   The time they have been blooming has gotten earlier by a few weeks.

  10. Here is some information.......it seems that there was a mini ice age in the 13th century until the early 19th century.

So we are currently in a warming trend - or that would be the theory

  11. What I don't understand about global warming is if it's getting warmer how did the Romans manage to grow grape varieties in the British Isles that we have to grow under glass today?
