  1. the reason they adjust the time one hour earlier, so that all working hours will end one hour earlier as well.  that is to have extra time to spend on personal things.

  2. Daylight Savings Time is when we set our clocks forward or backwards 1 hour. we do this because of the amount of sunlight we get during day at certain times of the year.

in spring, we set it 1 hour forward. in fall we set our clock 1 hour back. (Spring forward, Fall back)

this occurs because as the earth rotates around the sun.

in the spring time we are closer to the sun so it gets brighter earlier. and vice versa.

most states in the U.S. incorporate DST to take advantage of the sunlight to get work done during the day. it was mainly used for farmers to work on their fields during sunlight.

  3. over here in the summer time we put an hour back so that we get an extra hour of sunshine... its for about six months... when winter comes along we put it forward again

  4. Okay, so first you put your clocks back an hour. The reason is to make nights become dark more often. Well thats it. Who knows why it happens?

  5. to put it bluntly; saving the extra daylight hour by changing what time it is in summer so we get more time in the sun and at the beach. all good!
