  1. lesbos is famous for sampho who was the first woman poet and she was L*****n. her poets are very goos and sweet.

mykonos is famous for it clubs and beaches

  2. It is Sappho, famous female Ancient Greek poet that made the island's name famous for her love for women. Lesbos before her had no connection with homosexual women. Since she lived in that island and wrote poems of love for other women... well u know the rest of the story. Island Lesbos is called something else right now. So this island, with its infamous naming  (hey hold why infamous :P lets call it lustful), has no role in mythology. Lesbos is the real deal.

About Mykonos; I dont know its role in Ancient Greece but today Mykonos is known to be a g*y haven. Not that it serves only g*y men tho. Anyone who wants to get laid goes there including heterosexuals. Lovely place as Ive heard

  3. It is said that a L*****n woman lived on the island of Lesbos.

  4. Lesbos is famous in ancient Greece because of the Spaho writer, she was a Homosexual and thats how the adressing "L*****n" started.

Now is not so famous about this but about ouzo,as a famous tourist Target

As about Mykonos,,its history dates baack to 3.000Bc

uring these ancient times and , due to its proximity to the then highly populated island of Delos (situated about 2km away), became very important as a supply island and possibly as a getaway location for Delian citizens.

Now days,is famous for 3 things:

1-in the top of world's cosmopolitan resorts

    2-g*y friendly resort

3-very vivd night life-lots of guest and famous djs, partying till the day,hm,all day & night to be more accurate, etc

  5. Lesbos is famous for its ouzo and sardins, its skilled sailors, its extra virgin olive oil and its monasteries. Mykonos is a much smaller island and is famous for its traditonal Cycladean style and its powerfull winds (it's called the island of the winds.

Many L*****n men and women still live in Lesbos and Myconian men and women still live in Myconos. Famous Lesbians were Terpander (7th century BC), poet and kitharode, Sappho (7th and 6th centuries BC), lyric poet,

Theophrastus (370–285 BC), philosopher and botanist,

    Hayreddin Barbarossa (1470s–1546), Ottoman admiral,

Theophilos Hatzimihail (c. 1870–1934), painter and Odysseas Elytis (1922–1996), Nobel-priced poet. The most famous Myconian (cause Myconos is a small island and has not so many celebs) was the heroine of the Greek revolution of 1821, warrior and ship-owner, Manto Mavrogenous.(one of the 2 most famous female greek revolutionaries).

In greek mythology there are no themes concerning Lesbos or Myconos. Only that Myconos was built by a hero called Myconos. Historically, Lesbos has rich history as it had many Aeolian greek colonies. Myconos was a minor island which was shadowed by its neighbouring "Holy" island of Delos, where Apollo was born.

Apparently your question was aiming at telling you that only g*y men live in Myconos and only L*****n women live in Lesbos. Generally, the most Myconian and L*****n people I know are straight. Even a famous Myconian fashion designer that looks g*y has been married to women twice and has children and grandchildren.

Myconos used to be a very poor island and people turned to tourism to earn a living. So they accepted all kinds of Tourists: nudists, clothed, straight and g*y. Lesbos is a totally different situation. Sappho the poet was thought to be a L*****n because of some of her poems that show some sort of affection towards her female students. There is an ancient legend though which supports that she commited suicide for the love of a man. Who knows? However the homosexual women thought that Lesbos was their crandle.
