What exactly are fast carbs???

i keep hearing things about you need carbs, or you need fast carbs after a workout. what the h**l are carbs and fast carbs?? can anybody tell me how they work, what they are and what they do to you when you workout??? thanks

  1. simple sugars while slow burning carbs would be complex.  post workout you can consume either simple sugars or complex carbs or a matrix of them.

  3. fast acting carbs are for an example white bread, fruit,  pasta. carbs like these are fast acting carbs, and carbs that are slow acting are ones like wholegrain bread, muesli, wholewheat pasta, sweet potato, brown rice. if you want a good fast acting carbs for after a workout try buying a pot of pasta or have a banana. good luck
